Lauren just broke the news to me that Tokyopop has been shut down for around 6 months.

I’ve now got all of my university choices sorted out.
1) Guelph Bachelor’s in Fine Art - Studio Art (Honour’s program - 4 years)
2) Waterloo Bachelor’s in Fine Art - Studio Art (Honour’s program - 4 years)
3) OCAD U Bachelor’s in Fine Art - Drawing and Painting OR Bachelor’s in Design - Illustration (Both are 4 year programs)
My mom is actually letting me apply to OCAD. It’s kind of surprising.
She doesn’t want me to go too far away so she gives me these lectures about how far away it is and how finding somewhere to live will be an issue but I know she really just doesn’t want her precious babbu to go too far away or else she won’t have anyone to watch Young and the Restless with because my dad will just make fun of the show the whole time and I know my mom can’t handle my dad unless I’m around and ready to tell him to gtfo and go eat some chips or something and I am highly aware that I am creating a mess of a run-on sentence, but I really don’t give a crap.
Note: My dad is actually the more accepting parent when it comes to universities that I want to apply to…So thanks, daddio.
